[筆記] OpenSUSE 13.2 安裝後設定

兩個月前因為指導教授一句「系上做計算的都用SUSE」後果斷的把Ubuntu MATE換成OpenSUSE (也許是歐洲人比較喜歡SUSE？)。這些日子以來用起來難免有些小問題，像是paraview一直打不開等，直到測試用octave繪圖時才發現是NVIDIA Optimus這種自動轉換的顯卡在Linux上的問題，結果為了弄顯卡弄到系統重灌 Orz...

因為OpenSUSE比ubuntu系列還難以駕馭，寫個筆記以後也許還會用上(希望不要...)

在安裝後

* Update

$ sudo zypper refresh
$ sudo zypper update

* 安裝 Chrome (root)
( 用線上套件庫安裝會失敗)

# sudo zypper addrepo http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64/ google-chrome-x86_64
# sudo zypper install google-chrome-stable

* Add "Packman" repository

$ sudo zypper ar -f http://ftp.twaren.net/Linux/Packman/suse/openSUSE_12.3/     packman

* Install 『思源黑體』Noto Sans

- https://software.opensuse.org/package/noto-sans

* 安裝第2外語 Traditional Chinese
為了使中文字體比較好看，安裝Traditional Chinese 免去設定麻煩
control center -> system -> language -> secondary languages -> traditional chinese

* Turn off Nvidia Optimus
- https://zh.opensuse.org/SDB:Bumblebee
直接照上面 "只安裝bbswitch" 部份關掉顯卡以改善顯示及游標閃爍問題

* 安裝中文輸入法 gcin
- https://software.opensuse.org/package/gcin

如有異常
（such as : phonetic-keyboard- is not valid）

$ rm ~/.gcin/config/phonetic-keyboard*
